I have a classic Coach purse that is made of pale pink canvas and black leather. I have used it for a couple of summers and I pulled it out this weekend when I was switching over all the clothes. It was filthy. I decided to try to wash it in the washing machine to see what would happen since I really had nothing to lose. It went all the way through the wash and cleaned beautifully and the whole purse is completely intact! How about that.

I have several leather and canvas purses that I wash, I also condition the leather afterwards. You can buy leather conditioner at any shoe store.

Glad it worked out for ya

You are soo lucky! I recently spilled an entire cup of coffee in my suede coach purse. It was the first one I had purchased for myself in 10 years!!! Boy was I bummed, any thought on dry-cleaning it??

Quality & workmanship come at a high price, but the products last oh-so long.
And yes MrsMom, maybe your best bet is dry cleaning it.

I have to go to the dry-cleaners this morning anyway. I will find out how expensive cleaning it will be. Thanks!

Ok , I Have to Have bad luck , Cause I Have had Two Coach Purses ,
One Cloth and One tweed and Leather ,
And They Get Dirtier than any other Purse I Have , and DO NOT clean Well.

My Sister has a Couple All leather Coach Bags - and those are Nice.
They have looked good For Yrs. !

I haven't seen anything Better about the Regular coach bags though -
I bought One From a Coach catalog and one off of Ebay.
I Dont' think I would Buy another unless it was all Leather.

I have a couple of all weather leather bags and I usually treat them with leather "armor-all" for leather seats. They look shiny and replenished.
