Have you tried the ice tea machines out there? Are they worth the price, vs brewing the tea bags and pouring over ice?

I have one and sometimes I use it just to use it, but it's a hassle to get it out of the cupboard, fill it up, blah blah, much easier to brew on the stove, lol.

I say...NOT worth it.

I used to have one, got it as a gift, but my sister wanted one really badly so I gave it to her. I didn't really see the point in it. Waste of space for me....I like brewing it on the stove.

No. They end up just taking up space.

It is the only way I make iced tea. I just never get it right another way. But mine was a gift, so no $ out. My sister uses hers all the time too. Here's the weird thing - my DH loves iced tea and orders it all the time in restaurants. Brewed iced tea. I make it at home - he won't drink it. At home, he wants lipton instant pre-sweetened. We're both pre-diabetic. He needs to have it unsweetened - add some nutrasweet or something. I just don't get him.

I got one at Walmart a few years ago and I love it!!! I think I paid $15 for it and it was worth it for us.

I have one, but honestly the pitcher is the only thing that gets used!!!

I just throw tea bags in the top of the coffee maker, then add the water and let it brew.

Then with the pitcher I add the ice and pour the hot brewed tea over it. Same thing as using the tea maker. But for some reason I like the coffee maker better. I guess because the coffee maker stays on the counter, verses getting the tea maker out from under the cabinet!
