Does anyone have a Baby Monitor they love and would highly recommend? I have not bought one in 10 years and I am sure they have come along way. Thanks so much.

I bought a $15.00 Safety First monitor from Walmart. It's the cheapest one they have as far as I know and I've used it through 2 kids. The receiver can run on ac adapter or battery. It is so good, I can hear my son breathing and my husband snoring in the next room through the monitor.

I have a pretty basic fisher price one. Costs like $25-35, came from Target. If you have access to the book Baby Bargains they rate a bunch of different ones and discuss which ones are good if you have a lot of electronic items in your house that could interfere. Mine only has 2 channels but I have never had a problem with other noises interfering. The one I have also runs on adapater or battery. I'd definitley recommend one like that since it eats batteries quickly.
