Before the cold weather in the fall, we will need insulating window shades. Our architect recommended Window Quilts, but the company in Vermont said that they were bought out and the purchasing company discontinued the line in order to bring out their own. I haven't found a similar product.

Which leaves me with buying the honeycomb shades that many companies offer.

Does anyone have any recommendations? What is your experience? One concern that I have is the cords. We will be raising and lowering a lot in the winter and I have heard that cord quality varies.
