14" Chrome Under Cabinet Organizer

I have a huge island in my kitchen with cupboard underneath. I am always losing things in there because there is just one huge shelf and things get pushed back. So, do you think this would be a good solution? Any other ideas?

Sounds like a place that I'd like to have a lazy susan... just another alternative perhaps

IMO the chrome organizers are nice. I also like the lazy susan idea, my sister has that and loves hers.

a cheaper solution would be to stack plastic crates that interlock. You could get them all in one color, for a uniform look, and turn that area into a grid. Then you'd have lots of shelves to organize things on.

Another idea might be a short bookcase that fits inside the cupboard. You can get them from Walmart, you put them together yourself. It's really easy to put them together, and they're cheap. You can get them in a white or in a light or dark wood finish (I think).

One more idea that could work with your chrome shelf or with my bookshelf idea-- use flat-topped baskets, canvas organizers, or something similar to group the items in your island into categories. That way, when you need something and it's behind something else, just pull out the basket that's in front, and you have easy access to the basket in the back that you want. Lift the basket that you want out of the cupboard and place it on the counter, and use the items that you need.

Good luck! I've also been dealing with things "hiding in the back' of my pantry and cupboards!

I have one of these for under the sink and you can use it under the cabinet as well:
BATHROOM CABINET DRAWER - Taylor Gifts

I actually got mine from Bed, Bath & Beyond for a bit cheaper with my coupon.

I have an adjustable shelf. Before we renovated, I used the wire shelves to organize.

I like the pull out shelf, but I am thinking you could find something similar for a better price if you shop around.

I think pull out drawers in your cabinet are a wonderful idea. I fear the one you pictured won't work well, however, because the holes in the metal grid are too large. Instead, I'd look for a solid wood drawer - or perhaps make them yourself.

This is a worthy investment. I'd d it right the first time and not try to just make something else 'make do'.

I like that one! I wish it was cheaper OR bigger though I would need about 4.
