Has anyone tried this? Is it easy to wash out of clothes and off the kids?

I was going to get this but it said test it on the sidewalk first before using to see if it washes off. I didn't want to take any chances since I rent.

Hopefully someone used this to let both of us know.

My kids have gone through gallons of it over the last two years or so. We haven't had any trouble with it and they have a blast with it. I usually give it to them on an afternoon where they have nowhere to go so that I can stick them in the shower right after they finish playing with it.

I've bought a lot over the years as well...and it washes out of clothes and off skin just as easily as stick chalk.

I found a recipe in family fun for homemade sidewalk paint and I might try it out (although it has food coloring in it, so it might stain clothing/skin - I have to test that out). My neices go through a ton of the paint at my house and I'd like to try some different colors too.

Oregano, if the sidewalk paint HOMEMADE works out I would love it if you shared the wealth. I mean recipe.

LOL!

The recipe is equal parts cornstarch and water (they started with 1/4 cornstarch and 1/4 water)...and then drops of food coloring (or food paste colors for more brillant shades) for your preferred colors. You can add more water to your desired consistency. Store in a sealed container.
