I bought 2 today at Target since they were $7.47 each and plan on holding on to them for Christmas gifts for my boys. I couldn't find anywhere in the toy aisles the disks for them though and with my ds having a meltdown I wasn't going to wait around and ask anyone! I was wondering if your kids had them did they like them, can you buy the disks some where in store or only on-line? I checked ebay and I might try getting them there. I wanted some opinions on it so I know if I should hold on to them or maybe return them. I don't think they are something that would get used all the time, but might come in handy occaisonally and with that price I thought I should grab up the last 2. TIA!

I didn't know what this was, so I looked it up on Amazon. I know you didn't spend a lot, but you may want to reconsider. The disks on Amazon are cheap, but the reviews of the players aren't good - freezing, etc. Plus, since the disks are proprietary, it will be hard to find them if/when they stop being made. I'd check into the mfr. and do some googling to see if they are still making disks. It sounds like getting a cheap DVD player (I got one at ToysRUs last xmas for $20 would be better in the long run. I was just doing some googling too! I found a site where you can order the Video Now Wizard software, then download to your home computer and make disks of songs, video's, your own pics set to music and other shows for use on the Video Now player. I have to look into that software but I may keep them if I can do that.

We have two of them and love them. Supposely they are releasing a new improved one near christmas. We have the junior version too and that is my favorite. Our target and walmart had the videos on clearance. We use the systems to go the grocery store and other small errands. On ebay, I can sometimes find a lot of used videos cheap.
