I am searching for a new sunscreen. I used Aveeno last year but it did not rate well because of the chemical ingredients. Knowing this, I cannot put it on them.

Please let me know if you like Blue Lizard. Thanks!!

I use Blue lizard sensitive on my son only. He has severe excemza on his legs and as you probably know, BL is one of the few chemical free sunscreens that you can readily find. My only complaint ( and why I only use on him) is that I don't feel it speads well. Meaning doesn't rub in easily and tends to leave him looking white. You do use less so don't let the small tube and fairly expensive price scare you. It is a very good sunscreen and I would recommend it although not my favorite for the rest of the family due to the "spreadability" factor. We live in Florida so sunscreen is daily for us.

I haven't ever used it myself, but my girlfriend swears by it. I also recently saw it on Rachael Ray and they said that it is very waterproof. I also love the idea that the bottle turns color when it's time to reapply or something. I'm not sure if that helps, but she likes it a lot.

Thanks ladies!

I'm going on the hunt for Blue Lizard today. I hope CVS carries it in our area.

My 2.5 year old has eczema so it will be a bonus for her. The Avenno spray stings the eczema so that is another reason I don't like to use Aveeno even though it works well.

I bought 2- 4oz tubes at CVS today for 9.99 each. I found the regular Blue Lizard online at drugstore.com $15.99 for 9oz. If you sign up as a new customer, you get free shipping on orders over $25. I made up a new ID!

Blue lizard sensitive is the only sun screen I use for my kids.

We all have sensitive skin. This is the only sunscreen that dint make their skin break out in a rash.

My 2-1/2 year old doesn't really have 'sensitive' skin, but I would put, I swear, 800 spf on him and he would still burn! I was really freaking out since we got a pool this year. My grandmother died of melanoma. I got the Blue Lizard Face in the Allure box and tried it out of desperation - it worked! This is all I will use now. It spreads just fine for me. The hard part is getting him to hold still.

I'm glad it is working for you, too. We've used it on the boat the last two weeks and it has worked great. I'm very pleased with it.

call some local dermatologists thats where my brother gets it for my niece. you can order online as well. my niece has severe allergies and eczema as well and national jewish hospital in denver told them to continue to use this wich their ped dermatologist suggested.
