What do you use to clean your tub/tub area? Do you use a brush to clean, sponge??

As much as I LOVE scrubbing bubbles, I just can not take the fumes anymore!

We have a white tub, white tile enclosure and the sliding shower glass doors (ugh!) and cleaning this area is my most dreaded task. Between my hair color staining the tub and the occasional self-tanner, plus regular/scum, I feel like it is an uphill battle.
What do you use and how often to you clean your tub with the product. Do you use a differnt product on the tub than the shower doors? Ever worry that your product is damaging the tile grout? How do you apply the product-sponge? scrubbing brush? Help!

I don't have shower doors or tile. I have an ancient old claw foot tub that nothing could hurt, but I just use comet to clean everything in my bathroom. Sometimes I use a sponge or else just a rag.

I have exactly the tub setup you have, the white tile and doors are difficult. About every two weeks I tilex, the stuff is so caustic but it works best. In between tilexing, I wipe down with Method tub and tile cleaner. I also use comet in the tub when needed. Because of the doors, the tub is hard to scrub, so I actually strip down and scrub the tub in the nude, then shower afterwards.

We have a tub insert. I use a Mr. Clean eraser to get all the scum out and get everything all shiny. Then after that I use a cleaner, Mr. Clean diluted, or whatever I have on hand. This disenfects and makes it smell good but the eraser does all the hard work.

I second the Mr Clean Magic Eraser for soap scum. We have a tile shower with glass door (no tub) and I think it works the best. I hate caustic cleaners bc. of the fumes, but I occassionally use Clorox Clean up with bleach to get rid of mildew on the tile floor. I know it's not good for the grout, but we actually need to redo the grout anyway, so...

What about Bon Ami instead of Comet? It's just calcium carbonate so not caustic. I've used it on stainless steel (sink and stove) and it works great, but I've never tried it on my shower.

I hired a cleaning crew to clean my shower before I put my house on the market because of all the soap scum. They couldn't come, so I used a can of scrubbing bubbles and couldn't believe how fast and easy it was. All this time I could have just sprayed my walls and walked away. The can cost 3.50 and the cleaning crew would have been 150.00

I just started using the Arm & Hammer bathroom cleaner. It smells horrible, but you really don't have to scrub. I just sprayed it on twice (once each day for 2 days after my shower) then wiped the tile walls & shower doors down on day 3--good as new. The soap scum was really thick--I go at least a month between cleanings, since we're "supposed" to rip the shower out...I'm always hoping we'll get to it before I have to clean the shower again

I spray daily with a vinegar/water/ mixture that has a few drops of peppermint essential oil mixed in. The peppermint oil helps with the vinegar smell, and the vinegar keeps scum from forming.

We don't really ever have to scrub. It just doesn't get that yucky.

We use soft scrub..It's a bit messy, but does a great job!!

I like the idea about the peppermint in the vinegar ill have to try that i think im going to start cleaning with vinegar i have heard great things about it. But for now on my shower and every thing else that needs cleaned i use Mean Green its really cheap for a big bottle you can get it at Dollar General and it works wonderful i dont know how "Green" it is though, I hate scrubbing bubbles.

Does the vinegar get the glass doors cleaned?
