I found a bar of this soap at a bent and dent store one day several months ago. I first used it on a Raggedy Ann doll that a lady gave my daughter at a yard sale. The doll had a spot on its cheek and I just rubbed the bar of soap on the spot and washed the doll. I didn't think anything great about the soap getting the stain out. I just figured it wasn't an old spot. So this week I pulled out DD's clothes from last winter and started to go through them to sell on ebay. 2 of her gymboree outfits had stains. I knew the stains were there, they had been there for a while, but I thought I will try to wash them once more. So I pulled out the Fels Naptha and thought I would give it a try on the stains. I wet the stains and then just rubbed the bar of soap over the stains several times. The stains came out!!!! The one year old stains-red kool aid on one-came out! I am sold! I am seriously considering making my own laundry detergent now. I know I sprayed those stains last year after she made them. I am amazed at the power of Fels Naptha. I know some of you probably already use this, but I just wanted to share my story.
