I got a pair of these pants from LandsEnd this past spring (black) and I just love them! I ended up getting another color over the summer (dk brown) and right now...they're on sale - I'm contemplating getting two more colors (green and navy)! LOL!
They're not tight/clingy...don't stretch out, wash easily (I wash in cold water and line dry). They go with t shirts, tanks, cami's and flip flops, and then even a little dressier with a button down shirt or tee with a sweater and ballet flats or loafers.

I love these pants too, I have a couple of pairs of them (and a pair that is not cropped, but regular length) and they wash and wear wonderfully, they have kept their shape well and I wear them A LOT. That's a great price, I think I may have to order a couple more pairs... Lands End is having a great clearance sale right now, tons of other stuff is on sale too.

I agree, I don't think you can beat $15 for a good pair of pants!
I forgot to mention that even though I am short (5'-ish), I didn't go with the petite length. I just got the women's regular cropped and they're perfect for me, hitting just above the ankle.
