We bought one last year for our daughters, at that time age 4 and 2, and I don't feel that they used it as much as I thought they would. Everytime we went into ToysRUs I couldn't get them off it so I thought they would really enjoyit. It is a good toy and when they do ride on it they have fun. Now that they are a little older they do ride it a little more especially my youngest one. If I had to do it again I would save my money and get something else. It takes up space also, it is the only toy we allow in our living room and it is always in the middle of the floor or up against the wall. Everytime I think about selling it they start riding it some more. I have seen a coupl on Craigslist for around $85. It is a good toy to have when they have friends over though. Hope this helps you a little.

I got the smart cycle for my 6 year old last Christmas because everytime we went into Toys R Us, she wouldn't get off of it and proclaimed that was the only thing she wanted for Christmas. Christmas morning came and it was there all put together, but after the excitement for the first four months wore off, now its sits in her room. Just another thing to trip over. Considered selling it, along with Butterscotch from the year before, but everytime we consider it somehow it becomes the toys that she cannot live without and again she starts playing with them.
If you do decide to buy one, check Craigslist, sometimes some people just want it out of their house for a very reasonable price.
I have to say a couple of things for it:
1. I have not yet had to replace its batteries.
2. The games are interactive and fun and easy for the kids to change games when they want to.
3. We have not had any problems with ours, other than our daughter not having the complete intrest in it that I thought she would have.

Good Luck with your decision!!!!!
