I use scented bath gel and then hard milled soap. Which one I use, just depends on my mood. I am VERY particular about what scents I like...I've been using the same brands of bath gel and bar soap my entire life. I like Crabtree & Evelyn and Casswell-Massey. I also use some L'Occitane products. Dh uses just plain white bar soap - we have a lifetime supply of white hotel soaps from all his travels!

The kids use body wash in their bathrooms, simply because they find it easier to use...bar soap just tends to get too wet/mushy. It depends on their moods, sometimes they find something at Target that they like, and sometimes they use a Crabtree & Evelyn, Casswell-Massey or L'Occitane product. It just depends on the scent, their mood. They seem to like something for many months and then want a change. As soon as my 10 year old is tall enough, we can go with a rack in his bathroom that goes over the shower head...that will keep a bar of soap dry.

I only use Ivory bar soap in the shower. It is cheap, works well and does not bother my allergies so I have never seen a reason to change when all the fancy, expensive body washes started coming out.

Bar soap here. My New Years Resolution was to cut back on my plastic consumption -- not buying body wash is a huge step towards my goal! I have found that I have saved money + I don't miss it at all!

I've been using body wash since my teen years. I like the texture, easy to apply and wash off and isn't messy like bar soap.

I use whatever liquid soap is on sale & smells the nicest. On occasion, I do get some of the Avon Naturals, but again when they are on sale & when I have a dealer available. (Mine recently stopped selling it, but I think I found another dealer...) When I get those, they are my 'special" ones & I don't use them all the time.

I got tired of my DH smelling like Lever soap, so I talked him into trying the Axe bodywash. Now he's hooked! My 11 & 13 year old are also using it. They are particular about the scent & brand, though. And they all have thier own scrunchies to use. Ahhh...pre-teen & teen! lol
