Im browsing for Christmas ideas for my kids, my oldest 2 really really want a pet but I've decided against that also landlord says no. SOOOO I seen the Furreal Puppy! soo cute its expensive but does anyone have one? There are some less expensive ones smaller versions around $40 and some smaller even less but Im not finding many reviews. Thank You

We have the newborn piglet and lamb. If you go to the furreal website, you will see them pictured. They were actually INexpensive, and my dd's LOVE them. They have had them for about 5 months now, I guess, and they have held up well, too. Both girls actually sleep with them on top of carrying them around to play with!! I had worried they would eat batteries, but really, they are even good in that regard. To my knowledge, we have replaced the batteries in each of them ONCE!! Also, in cleaning...you do have to surface wash them only because of the mechanics. Our lamb got dirty at a softball game (go figure!), and it did take a few times of surface cleaning for me to get him white (ish) again!!!

Well I've seen the small ones which are really cute, but I was talking about the bigger ones like the Pony theres a pup called Biscuit hes huge and is suppose to go by demands and things hes 179.99 theres a smaller version a kitty and a puppy that are 39.99 are they worth it? Im looking at it more for my6yr old the leader of the pack who wants a pet my younger ones just want it because she does lol but would enjoy the fake pet just as much it would be like all of there big combined gift. We always buy 1 or 2 gifts that are larger but for all of them to play with for christmas, then their own gifts seperatly.

My dd got one for her 7th b-day and was not impressed. I guess she was just too old for it. My 2-year-old plays with it some, but he's a little too young. Seems like this would be a great gift for ages in between, though--its SO cute!

We got ds the parrot last year. That crazy thing retailed in some places for almost $100! Thank God I got him on sale on black Friday for $29! DS wanted him so bad, but of course, I end up picking him up off the floor and he gets ignored. Good thing it's not a live creature! I'm finding my kids expect thier toy animals to be electronic, but play much more with the ones that aren't.
