My favorite and most used gadget is my Pampered Chef can opener. I use it every day. I have bought other can openers and even electric can openers but they cant keep up with my constant use. I would be lost without it.

I never heard you mention it when you got back but how was your trip to South Dakota??

My peeler that I got from Walgreens for $2. I do not like the heavy peelers. I use it for EVERYTHING - fruits, vegetables, chocolate, cheese etc. I bought one of those and left it in my parents and in-laws homes so that I can use them when I visit them.

Araefin, Christy's mommy, Noahsmommy, and M-mduncan:

Please PM your addy's. I will try my best to get your envelopes shipped out on Thursday night.

My favorite kitchen gadget is my rice cooker with Titanium bowl. My parents bought it for me for Christmas (it cost like $200 so you know I would have never bought it for myself). You can make rice, porridge, soups, steamed items. I LOVE THIS THING! You can set the timer....LOVE IT! I even took it to S. Dakota with us and made porridge and soup for my kids.

The S. Dakota trip was fun! My kids did great on the drive up there. Hardly any meltdowns. Didn't have to use my earplugs in the car once! The drive home everyone was more crabby so we made a few more pit stops than planned, but still they did great. Had a nice visit with my inlaws and other relatives. Unfortunately I ended up in the ER on the drive home, but nothing serious. And the good thing that came from it was we decided to stop in Vegas for a night to break up what would have been a 9 hour drive day. So the kids got to play at the pool and see the lights. Although I don't want to do any long trips like that for awhile, I know that next year we will look forward to driving again.
