1. How many raks can one person recieve at a time? (of course they are paying it forward and raking others)
2. Is food other than perishables and chocolate items allowed?

Your first question is a tough one. This forum has guidelines for how to use it, but one has to know within themselves how not to ABUSE it.
I would think if we saw the same person receiving RAKs and not paying it forward, we would contact that person and remind them to Pay It Forward at least a few times before requesting or responding to any additional RAK offers. Again this is tough, because this forum is based on an honor system and I HOPE that we as mods will not ever have to intervene in an abuse of the program.

Your second question is answered in the guidelines. Our main concern is rules of export from the U.S to any other country.

Thanks Christy! I wasnt sure. So as long as you are offering up raks and going thru with it it doesnt matter as long as you keep it as a cycle?

Yes to an extent. I would like to think that members on here, as they have shown by example, would know that if they recently responded to a RAK, that they would not respond to many others in the same week/month!

It's about being fair. As I have seen so far, many people are reading the RAK offers and responding with "I already have a RAK coming, but this is a great idea" when they see something they like. To me that is a courtesy they have for other members. The idea is to spread the love to other people on the board and to involve as many people as we can.

Because this forum is based on an honor system we don't want to bog the members down with too many rules. It would then take away the sentiment

So my advice is: If you have a RAK coming to you that you have requested, than I would wait until it is RECEIVED before requesting another one. Or to be even more fair, after you have received your RAK, offer one up. Once you have done that, you have fulfilled all your honorary responsibilities and are free to do some more RAK shopping! (per se!!!)

I guess lol. I was just curious cause I didnt know how many you could recieve at one time as long as you are giving back cause I have 4 RAK offers out right now. One that is sent one that is ready to go to the post office and two more that havent been claimed

I love to give! But if there is something really cool I dont wanna miss out lol

In that case it's different.

Some people may not pay it forward until months later so it's instances like that, that we have to remember this is by honor system.

Do what you think is fair.
