Hello RAK'ers!

I am loving all this giving and receiving and Itrading. It's wonderful! I appreciate all of you participating in this program. We hope that the board catches on and joins in on the fun!

I do however, have one reminder about Itrader feedback, especially for those using it for the first time: Please, please please USE THE URL TO THE THREAD YOU ARE LEAVING ITRADER FEEDBACK for.

For example: if you were the Recipient of RAK, go to that thread, click on it to open. Go to the top of the page in the address bar and right click the URL (web address), click "copy" and then "paste" that link in your Itrader feedback.

You will see that the box for the URL reads "optional". I had to modify the settings to read that in the event that some members did not use it. Otherwise, the mods would receive 101 emails from Itrader saying you all were doing something "suspicious" if one or two of you forget to do it, so I left it optional....however, we the mods double check the feedback and consider it mandatory that you (the Recipients) do leave it so we can track the legitimacy of the transaction!!!! (see the guidelines stickied above in the forum: SEEN HERE). Otherwise members would just be leaving feedback for other members on false pretenses and to build up the positive reputation, which is not what this program (Itrader) is all about.

Most of you do have the hang of it and I appreciate that, however I felt the need to remind all users once again, now that the contest is receiving more and more attention and participants!

You don't need to "copy" the url for it to work....if you just go to the RAK thread you are referring to and click on the persons itrader icon from that thread it automatically does it even though that box will be blank. That had worked for me every time.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE IN THE TUTORIAL ON HOW TO LEAVE iTRADER FEEDBACK! THANK YOU!

iTrader is a member feedback system that Mommysavers uses to track swaps, trades, barters, and RAK transactions. We ask that participants consult with the original forum for iTrader rules before leaving iTrader feedback. The rules can be found stickied at the top of the participating forums. (Scrapbooking, Bartering, and RAK).

Please note the tutorial below. It gives you a step by step demonstration on how to leave and read iTrader feedback.

To Leave Feedback:
There are two ways to leave feedback for members. They vary slightly. I recommend using Example A the first time you leave feedback for someone.

A.
1) Under the person's screen name on the board, you will see some information about them: last online, join date, real name, post count, Gallery: #, and then iTrader: (X). Click on the (X)

2) That member's profile will pop up. Under their current iTrader feedback, you will see a link that reads "Submit Feedback for member's name. Click on that.

3) A tab menu will appear. You choose what you were in the transaction: Buyer, Seller, Trade

4) The next tab menu you will select "positive" experience (all other transactions must be handled by a moderator in the forum or origin of transaction)

5) Comment on the transaction: "great trade", "awesome RAK", etc

6) For the next text bar, you will need to find the original thread of the transaction and PASTE the URL code in this box to verify the legitimacy of the exchange. The URL box does read "optional" but it is MANDATORY.

To do that here is an example to better explain:
If you were the Recipient of RAK, go to the original thread, click on it to open. Go to the top of the page in the address bar and right click the URL (web address), click "copy" and then "paste" that link in your iTrader feedback URL box

7) In the last text window you are free to comment on the exchange. Your comment must be at least 10 characters long.

8) Click on SUBMIT REPLY and the feedback will be tallied in the member's profile

B.
If you are familiar with how to use iTrader, there is a way to skip some of those steps.

If you just go to the original thread of the transaction (say a RAK thread) and click on the Giver's iTrader icon from that thread directly, it automatically register the URL in the URL box for you.
