There are so many stories but here is a recent one.
My 4yr old came up to me while I was fixing dinner and said "Hey mom, F*ck means a bridge. right?" I thought I was not hearing him right. No way could my 4 yr old just said the F word. So I asked him what he just said. "F*ck means a bridge, right?" Ok, now I'm stunned where in the world did that come from and what the heck did he mean. So I asked him what he is talking about and he said "you know f*ck a bridge that beavers build." My 6 yr old who was hearing the who conversation is laughing like crazy and then says, "No AJ, Beavers built a dam." 4 yr olds response, "Oh I knew it was one of those words you can't say."

The other day my DD (3yrs old) kept sitting in her older brother.. After getting after her a couple of times she finally looked at me and said "but Mom it was a nice pot (spot, she doesn't pronounce her "s's" yet)"

Well, after the F word story, I think we're all sunk.
However, the other day my MIL did something (heaven help me if I actually remembered) and my 2 1/2 yr old asked her how she did it. She told him "it's magic!" He thought about it for a moment, looked at her, and then said w/big eyes, "can you pull a rabbit out of your hat?"
I have no idea where that came from!

I can't remember any that my kids have said. But, I have had lots of occasions at head start. One day, we were discussing farm animals. I had some toy animals and held them up and we talked about them. We talked about horses and the babies are colts, we talked about goats and thier babies are kids, then I asked "What do you call a baby pig?" One little boy from the bad part of town piped up VERY seriously " the PO-lice"
I thought that was SO funny!

Today my daycare child (3) informed me that if you bang your pee pee just a lttle bit on the toilet more pee comes out!
My 4 yr old when he was 3 saw butterfly nets in the store but yelled at the top of his lungs, look at those Jelly Fish catchers! (spongebob)
My grandmother always used to make the birthday cakes for everyone in the family. for my youngest she did Elmo she used red cocunut for his fur, and my older child 3.8 at the time stated very loudly that Elmos fur tastes terrible and it wasn't nice to eat Elmo!

Diva nursed when younger, so she's still obsessed about them, even though she's been weaned for awhile. Since she made me laugh from the below, she keeps doing it, and showed her daddy.
We were laying in bed for a bedtime story, when she stuck her hand under my shirt, stuck up her finger, so it made a "tent" or point in my shirt, and said, "Look, mommy, this is a nipple." She's 2!
