We adopted a 12 month old puppy this past weekend, we was in a kill shelter and was suppose to be put down this week.. She is just so beautiful and it is ashame of all of the animals in these shelters...very

That is awesome! I'm sure your new puppy is so thankful.

We rescued an aussie mix from a kill shelter last year. She had heartworms so she was deemed unadoptable. With some financial support from the shelter, we were able to get her treatments. I kept her for 7 months and found her a new home. She didn't get along with my children or our other dog. Those places are nightmare. She was trembling and smelled of urine when we brought her home. She is doing really well with her new owner. She gets all the attention.
