Ooohh, I have wood laminate floors too- and 2 dogs and 2 kids! I need a Wet Jet!! I have a lot of cleaning tips, here are two good ones:

I use used dryer sheets to pick hair up off the bathroom floor. This is one of the biggest problems in our house. You just wipe it around, and the hair clings to it. You can also use them to shine your faucet.

The other is to use baking soda and a little water to form a paste- this cleans messes on stoves and sinks without being abrasive.
