I would like to give a copy of "How Al-Anon Works - for Families and Friends of Alcoholics" to someone, someone who is struggling with a friend or family member that is an alcoholic or addict. I'd like that someone to be considering or attending Al-Anon meetings.

I have a few friends and family members who are alcholics/addicts, some still using/drinking, some sober. Al-Anon has SIGNIFICANTLY improved MY life, in spite of the actions of those I love. Because of Al-Anon, I am able to live for myself, not base my life around the actions of my alcoholic/addict loved ones.

I would like this RAK to remain anonymous if the receiver wishes. Send me a PM, and Friday evening I will draw names and PM the winning person for their address, and mail them the book. The book is in excellent condition - I just have other Al-anon literature that I depend on a lot more.

wow ! that's very nice of you! i spent 5 years of my life with a using alcoholic/drug user. alanon works, it is a great help if you are in that situation and you learn so so much , not just about the alcoholic/addict , but about yourself also. highly recommend.

This is an awesome RAK! Alcoholism is such a bad "disease" and it affects such a huge population.
