Hi! I have a package of two self stick note pads that are shaped like lemons.

Here's the challenge:
I want to know the easiest or somewhat easy recipe to make involving lemons or a good health/beauty tip using lemons. I will pick a winner from the list on Thursday. Good luck!

LEMON ICE BOX PIE

1 graham cracker crust

Make graham cracker crust according to package directions. Mix together Eagle Brand milk, lemon juice and egg yolks. Pour into crust. Make meringue by beating egg whites with mixer until foamy. 3 c flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
3 Tbs poppy seeds
2 1/4 c sugar
1 1/8 c vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 1/2 c buttermilk(but reg will do in a pinch)
1/2 c lemon juice(bottled "real lemon"brand is fine)
1/4 c orange juice
5 Tbs powdered sugar
1/2 tsp lemon extract

Preheat oven to 350
Grease three 8x4 inch bread pans.
(don't worry about it making 3 loaves...EVERYONE will love it)

Mix flour, salt, baking powder, poppy seeds and 2 1/2 c sugar.
Add the eggs, milk, oil, lemon juice, mix til smooth(about a min)

Pour evenly into pans.

Bake 50-55 min,til a toothpick comes out clean.

Cool loaves in the pans for 10 min, then turn out onto wire rack.

Mix o.juice w/5 Tbs powdered sugar and desired flavor of extract, stir well(I use lemon).
(I like to warm my oj in the microwave a bit first...like 15 sec)
Pour over loaf while it's still hot.

Allow loaf to cool completely before serving.

YUM!!!

NOTE
I usually just make 2 reg loaves though cause I like mine taller.

Not to much a recpie, bt makes an amazing tasting drink..

Infused Lemon Water

Put a sliced lemon in a pitchur of water for several hours. It's amazing how wonderful it tastes. All the favor of lemonade, but none of the sugar. You don't even notice it. Wonderfully refreshing!! You can use the same lemons for several days.

For Colds and Sore Throats
Lemon juice is excellent for colds and sore throats. It's vitamin C levels help boost the immune system and its astringent and antiseptic qualities nurture the body's healing capabilities.

Cough Syrup: Mix 1 part lemon juice with 2 parts honey. (First time users and children: Do not give to children under 1 year old, and make sure to test for any food allergies.)

For the Throat: Drinking tea with lemon and honey relaxes and soothes the throat, while relieving a cough.

The anti-viral properties of lemons also help us recover from the flu. Combine lemon juice and honey in hot water and drink.

For The Digestion
Drink lemon juice with water in the morning or any time during the day.

Insect Bites
Dab a little lemon on the bite to help healing and reduce swelling.

* Caution: Be careful in applying lemon juice on the skin if you are going to be out in the sun as it can make the skin photosensitive.
