Dd made this and had a ball...quick and easy.Reminds me a drop biscuit only in bread form...fresh from the oven would be good w/potato soup.

2 c flour
4 tsp bk powder
1 Tbs sugar
1/2 tsp onion salt
1/2 oregano
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1 c cheddar(I used Sargentos Chipotle Cheddar for some added kick)
1 c milk
1 egg,beaten
1 Tbs melted butter

Mix all and pour into greased 8x4 pan.
Bake at 350 35-45 min(check w/toothpick)

This looks & sounds so good! And I bet if you put a little garlic butter on it, it would be similar to a Red Lobster biscuit!

That looks yummy. I'll bet it would be good with chili.

Mmmm.... that looks mouth-watering! Does it taste like the Red Lobster Cheddar Bay biscuits at all?
