Ranch Dressing
1 cup mayo
1/2 cup buttermilk or 1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon crushed garlic or one clove, crushed
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon sugar (optional but it gives it that Hidden Valley Taste)
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Whisk all ingredients together. Keep in fridge.

Balsamic Dressing
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1/3 olive oil (extra virgin is best)
2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon vinegar
Whisk together, can be kept in cupboard or fridge, must be run under warm water before serving if kept in fridge. Shake vigorously before pouring.

Dijon (this one is my favorite, it has a strong taste but I like it .. a variation on an Oprah recipe)
1/4 cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon Dijion mustard
1 teaspoon crushed garlic (or one clove garlic, crushed)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup olive oil
Mix all the ingredients except for the olive oil in a blender. Turn on low, add olive oil very slowly letting it pour in gradually. Keep in fridge.

Bump.
Thanks, I am going to try making some ranch dressing tomorrow. I have sour cream. Does it taste just as good as using buttermilk?

These look great, thanks KH! And thanks Penelope for bumping it up!

I'm going to try the ranch also, and the balsamic vinaigrette. I already make my own vinaigrette, but I'm intrigued by the worcestershire that's added in.
