1/2 cup boiling water
1 small package cherry Jello
1/4 to 1/2 cup red hot candies
1 1/2 cups applesauce

Dissolve Jello and candies in boiling water. I usually do this in a small sauce pan so I can keep it on low heat and it warm while dissolving the candies. When mostly dissolved add the applesauce and chill until set.
