3 (14.5 ounce) cans whole green beans, drained
1 pound bacon, cut in half
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic salt

Preheat oven to 350
Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Wrap 7 green beans with bacon and place in prepared dish. Repeat, using all the green beans and bacon.
Combine butter with brown sugar. Pour over green bean bundles and sprinkle with garlic salt.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.

(remember too...you could just toss the beans in the pan and lay the bacon on top...etc-I mean not everyone is having Martha Stewart over for dinner)

I did these last night and they were great! I did a smaller batch of them since it was just the five of us and I didnt know if anyone would like them. Everyone ate them up, even the kids. It was a nice change to just dumping a can of green beans in a saucepan to heat up-which is what I usually do.

I've gotta try this! On another post, aliadam commented on this recipe and made it sound soo good. I normally don't like green beans, but this i've gotta try!

I liked it so well that even though I just made it yesterday, I went to the grocery store this morning and bought stuff to make it again!!

Has anyone tried this with frozen green beans? That's what I have on hand, and we usually like the better than canned, but they're a lot crispier. This recipe looks really good!
