do you know what ingredients are in it b/c I bought the book that Calamari has "Some Enchanted Eating" and I know her pineapple chicken bake is in there. If you can give me some ingredients, I'll go through and see if I can find it in there.

OH boy....I don't know the measurements by heart.

Melt butter in sauce pan. Add thin egg noodles & some pine nuts (optional) & saute until the egg noodles start to turn brown. They turn brown all of a sudden, so watch it. Pour in chicken broth & rice. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover & simmer for 20 minutes.

I know I use 1/2 stick of butter. I'm thinking just over 1 cup egg noodles. Any amount of pine nuts - like 1/3 cup or so. I think the rice & broth is standard ratio - 2 c broth to 1 c rice. It's not in that cookbook. It's a family recipe.

Sorry I'm at work & don't have the recipe in front of me. Hope that helps.

The egg noodle amount might be just over 1/2 cup instead of just over 1 cup. I usually make a double recipe, so I'm thinking I might have doubled that.

I don't think it will affect the outcome either way, tho.
