Normally, I HATE beans. But I will eat this recipe. It is good for when you are having BBQ's, potlucks, etc. I make this and I rarely bring any leftovers home. Hope if you try it you like it. Use any name brand of beans you like.

1-medium can of pork & beans
1-medium can of butter beans, drained
1-medium can of kidney beans, drained
1-medium can of black beans, drained
1-cup of brown sugar
2-tablespoons of Worcestshire sauce
1/3-cup ketchup
1/4-cup chopped onion
1-pound of bacon, chopped up and fried. Drain grease. (I find packages of bacon ends (think that's what it is called) it is cheaper than buying regular bacon)
1-cup shredded cheddar cheese


Preheat oven to 350*.
Mix all ingredients in large casserole dish. Bake until hot and bubbly. Add cheese on top and cook until melted.

I have to admit, I have never done this recipe in the oven. I always do it in the crockpot. I mix everything together and cook until hot. than I add the cheese and mix it up. This recipe works well if you have to double it.

This sounds divine...and I like the twist with the cheddar cheese

Could possible even sub:
1-cup of brown sugar
2-tablespoons of Worcestshire sauce
1/3-cup ketchup


with some leftover sweet bbq sauce(I always seem to have a little leftover bottles in the fridge)
