Do you put the asparagus directly on the grill, or on foil?

Thanks, this sounds awesome and my kids just discovered how good asparagus is, so this will be great this summer!!

You can also do them in the oven, under the broiler...it's quick and easy. We have aspargus all the time!

DH and I LOVE asparagus...still have yet to convince DD how great they are, though...

I've never cooked them on the grill, but this sounds easy and tasty!!

Question: How much of the stalks to you cut off form the bottom? I've heard that you can "skin" the tough outer edges to make them more tender when cooked, but I've tried this and it's just too much work for me! (ha) I don't want to waste any of the stalks, but they're just so darned TOUGH no matter what I do!

Yummm, sounds good, I recently got DH to eat these. We grilled them with olive oil, a little pepper and garlic salt.
