I need a Devilled Egg Recipe - something basic and flavorful. I have a recipe but its fancy and has an odd taste. I was thinking about making a batch of regular and spicy ones so if you have one of each please share!

everyone loves these....the red onion just makes it...people who usually dont like deviled eggs will eat these...everyone raves!!!

6 eggs
1/4 red onion, minced
1/4 c mayonnaise
1 Tbs mustard
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp hot sauce
cayenne pepper

assemble as normal..... sprinkle top w/cayenne instead of paprika.

another favorite...

12 eggs
1/2 c mayo
4 slices bacon
2 Tbs finely shredded Cheddar cheese
1 Tbs mustard

Prepare eggs as usual...

Cook and cruble bacon...

assemble as usual...good stuff...another one that everyone loves but is more friendly for people who dont like onions.

For just a standard deviled egg I do about

12 eggs
1/2-3-4 c mayo(start with 1/2 I like it on the thick side)
2 Tbs mustard
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp hot sauce
sweet paprika to garnish

People  deviled eggs.......keep it somewhat simple...not overly off the wall flavors and theyre almost always guaranteed to be a HIT!!!!!!!!
