Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

16 oz. box macaroni
shredded cheddar cheese (the sharper the better)
1 stick of butter
salt and pepper to taste
milk

Boil macaroni and drain. Grease the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan with a pat of butter (this keeps the noodles from sticking stubbornly to the bottom of your pan). Pour drained noodles into pan. Salt and pepper noodles to taste. I usually salt and pepper, then stir the noodles so they are evenly coated. Cut several pats of butter (small tsp. ones) and disperse evenly throughout noodles. Pour milk into 9 x 13 pan- eyeball it by looking at the side of the casserole dish. When you see the white milk line hit about halfway up the side, then stop. ) Sprinkle cheese on top to your liking (I like a BUNCH!). Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Broil for a few additional minutes to get that lovely brown cheese on top. YUM! )

I got this from another web site and it is very good and easy!
