Default Bread Recipe?

Does anyone have a good garlicy type of bread machine recipe that would go with chicken cattetorie (sp?)? I would like to set my timer and have it done when we come home from swimming tonight. The chicken in already in the crockpot

1 1/8 c warm water
3 c bread flour
2 Tbs dry milk powder
2 Tbs sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbs margarine
2 tsp active dry yeast
2 tsp garlic powder
3 Tbs dried minced onion
1 c shredded sharp Cheddar cheese<cut into small cubes>


Set for basic cycle with the light crust.

When alert sounds add the garlic powder, 2 tablespoons of the onion flakes and all of the cheese.

After the last knead add last tablespoon of onion flakes over dough.

or............

2/3 c warm water
2 tsp margarine, softened
1 garlic clove, minced
2 c bread flour
1 Tbs sugar
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
1/8 tsp dried thyme
1/8 tsp dried basil
1 3/4 tsp active dry yeast


Place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer.
Select basic bread setting.
Light crust color.

(check dough after a few min of mixing- add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed )




both recipes are GREAT!!!!!!!

The active dry yeast= Can I use the bread machine Yeast that comes in a jar? And shredded cheese also, because I am on the 21 day spending freeze and only have shredded cheese.
