1 lb loaf sliced white bread
3/4 c butter
1 onion,minced
4 stalks celery,diced
2 tsp poultry seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
1 c chicken broth
1/2 sage sausage roll,cooked,drained and run through food processor
Let bread slices air dry for 1 to 2 hours, then cut into cubes.
Melt butter melt over med heat. Cook onion and celery til soft.
Season with poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Stir in bread cubes til evenly coated. MIs in ground sausage.
Moisten with chicken broth.
Mix all well.
Chill, and use as a stuffing for turkey,whole chickens or bake in a buttered casserole dish at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes.

My Mom and I both make our stuffing like these and roast whole chickens throughout the year...just to be able to eat this dressing....YUM!!!(processing the sausage gives it great flavor w/out messing w/the standard texture!!
