found this recipe on the Zaar and it's AWESOME!!!!

2 lbs green beans
1-2 Tbs olive oil (or enough to lightly coat beans)
1 tsp kosher salt (to taste, or use Mrs. Dash-opt)
1/2 tsp pepper (omit if using Mrs. Dash)

Pre-heat oven to 400.
Wash, dry well, and trim green beans.
Put green beans on a jelly roll pan.
Drizzle with olive oil.

Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Use your hands to be sure all the beans are evenly coated and spread them out into 1 layer.
Roast for 20-25 min, turn after 15 minutes, til beans are fairly brown in spots and somewhat shriveled.
Serve hot or at room temperature.

:happy dance: My family really like asparagus fixed this way. I trim the asparagus and then wrap in a strip of bacon. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper, I do it in the oven but I've also done these on the grill. My husband thought eating asparagus was like eating part of a tree, but this changed his mind
