2 Tbs ev olive oil
1/2 onion, chopped (I like vidalia but you can use regular)
2 cloves garlic, minced
16 oz frozen peas
1/4 c chicken stock
pepper to taste



Heat olive oil over med heat.
Stir in onion and garlic,cook about 5 min.
Add frozen peas,stir in stock.
Season with pepper.
Cover, and cook til peas are tender, about 8-10 min.

These are sooooooooo good......we love creamed peas also..but this is an awesome break from the cream sauce
