How Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library works!

This is a fabulous program this available in many communities. You sign your child up at birth and will recieve a free book a month in the mail until they turn 5! We loved it because it really exposed our kids to books that we normally wouldn't have selected on our own, but have ended up being favorites.

Indianapolis (IN) has Early Readers Program through the United Way. It use to be called Imagination Library. It is a great program and the kiddos get really neat books. There is a cost (they just started charging a year or so ago), but scholarships are available now. I was able to get my books for my son all free.
