Just wanted to say thank you... went to the site and got stuff that is going to mean alot to the family. Donated $18. What a great organization to do this for only donations or free!

This is a great organization. They have alot of religious resources for families. I subscribe to a few of their magazines. They offer these items to people for a donation. This organization is able to do there good works because of the donations. I would not be able to take $100 worth of their merchandise for free. I too would feel like I was stealing.

Well, it all went through. I hope I get the stuff...thanks Ember for sharing that. If it comes it'll be the first "freebie" I've actually gotten!

I ordered a few things but I did give a "donation". I, too, would feel guilty just taking a bunch of free stuff from an organization which is trying to do good deeds. But that's just me...

I found The Total Money Makeover and a few other money related books that I tried to order but I kept receiving an error so I'm going to try again later. Thanks though this is a great website.

What if you don't donate their suggested amount? Will you be billed for the remaining balance later?

Not to open a can of worms...each person has different thoughts...but I have mixed feelings about it.

well, I put 0.00 in donation and it would not allow me to order the items. it was 2 items at 40.00. it said my donation was less than the suggested donation price and if I wanted I could go back and change my donation. if I wanted to give less than the suggested price I had to call them. sorry I didn't think to copy and paste. I was planning on donating, but I specifically didn't to see what would happen. after the message I was put off and decided not to bother with the whole thing.

We just ordered the "The Bringing Up Boys" series from them recently. They have wonderful resources, and this is one of the ministries we support financially. I could never order any of their resources and not give a donation.

This is the message that I got when entering an amount below the suggested donation.

We are unable to process your request online as the amount you've chosen is less than the suggested donation. We may be able to complete your request, but you must first contact us directly at (800) A-FAMILY (232-6459) in order for us to assist you.

If you wish, you may return to the previous screen and specify a different donation amount for these resources. Thank you.
