I did give money but it wasn't the total amount that they suggested. I got a book on how to help my relationship with my MIL hopefully it will work - I'm thinking about giving it to her after I'm done cuz one sentence in it says something about it taking 2!

I have not recvd my items either. It did say 7-10 business days & it has been WAY over that. I went back on the website to check on the status of my order but they had no option to do so. I did send an them e-mail w/ all of my order info. We will see what happens.

On the livejournal freebie community one of the members said she donated $5 for $60 worth of CDs and DVDs. They double-charged her on her card. When she called to dispute it with them, the lady made a comment about how she had only donated $5 for $60 worth of stuff. So, yeah, they are paying attention to the people who had no intentions of making a "suggested" donation. They're floating up the lawsuit river I think. It was misleading and borderline false advertising. Just because some people took advantage of it doesn't mean they should punish everyone.

The real deal is that certain people who are supportive of some controversial things did not like that this group was distributing material that was anti whatever it is that they support, so they took advantage of them by taking their resources and selling them on ebay. This offer has been all over the internet, under the guise of "getting back" at them for distributing this material. If it wasn't for that, I really feel the group would have continued to give the other stuff out, and everyone would have gotten their orders. I don't want to post what it is they support so as not to spark the debate. You can draw your own conclusions.

I received my items but one was not sent and no where does it say I was ever going to get it. I did end up getting $86 worth of stuff for my $20 donation. I didn't order anything religion based except for a Veggie Tale movie, my items were mainly money saving books.
Did anyone else get the items they ordered?

I got all of my things, but I gave them a donation. I would have felt bad taking the things for nothing, especially since I know this was just an effort to "stick it to them" by others. But anyway...got all of mine.
