Why You Might Not Be Getting Freebies!-TIPS-

A few helpful tips
*Copy and paste, the first rule of RECEIVING freebies.*

they will not send out to those who have come from "freebie" sites as they are usually offering promotions to entice new paying customers to buy products in the future.

For newbies who may not know how to copy and paste...go the to the beginning of the link and left click...holding it down. Drag it to the end of the link (it will highlight), release. Right click and "copy". If the link is too long(you see .... in the link), you will have to "copy shortcut" instead. Open another browser page (eg. Google). Right click in the ADDRESS bar and "paste" the address into the fresh browser, then click go or search.

One additional tip...if a company emails you and asks where you heard of their offer, NEVER tell them from a freebie site. Instead, its from a friend, relative, tv etc.

It SHOULD be OK to click the links, but as with anything you have to be careful, we do get spammers that post here regularly and even though the Moderators are usually pretty quick to delete it, you still might see it on here. Once you've been around a while you'll get to know who the regular freebie posters are and that you can trust their links. HTH

Thanks for the tip(s) Ash. I'm a "junior" on here ... didn't know about the copying/pasting ... and I've been telling them I got them off a "freebie" site ... won't be doing that in the future .. although I have been getting samples ...

I have noticed that the spammers tend to use the same language and offer HUGE things like "Free Plasma TV" or "Free Digital Camera" or such.

If it seems way too good to be true~ it probably is.

Thanks for the tips - I'm going to try the cut and paste - I hope my percentage of freebie returns goes up.

okay say for instance dove is runnin some kind of sample we all know that it is well known there for your chances are good you gonna get that sample however, some sites have trackers on them teling them how you got to there page and most of the time if they see you are from a freebie site they won't send out that sample, but don't get me wrong you can click on all the links none will hurt ya lol but remember some sites have trackers lol that's when you copy and past so they can't see where you coming from. As for as spammers lol if you can find me someone who will give me a big screen tv for free bran new with no strings attached girl call me pm me anything lol but dought you gonna find one lol but yeah like bonnie said stay on the site for a lil while you will find out who posts are spammy wammy lol also if you wanna know right away and get a feal of the diffrent screen names people have look back a couple of pages you might even find certain people post surtain intrests that you have which helps me out a lot i actually look for certain peoples screen names because i know i love the freebies they post hope this helps a lil

I call it Spam in a Can, Ashley.

Things like, "It's always good to save money on the essentials, $500 free Target Gift Card." Or "The kids could use a Free Laptop in their Bedroom", etc.

It's not HAM, it's...

Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, SPAM!

Thanks for the valuable info! I never knew they had trackers! That explains a lot. I just figured that they ran out or were just s-l-o-w. Now I know why I haven't received some of the samples I requested!
