Have you tried just skipping it? Some don't actually require it, they just asking.

I have a small business but it's business/medical releated, so few freebies actually relate to it. I only put my business in if it somehow relates.

I have just skipped that part before, and still gotten the freebie. A good chunk of them tell you to go back and fill it out, but some are just being nosy I think.

I have to agree...I won't do it either. Happymom I get what you're saying and I feel the same way.

I would *almost* equate it to lying to get what you want. You want a freebie, so you lie. Almost like that Hannah Montana ticket winner Mom..She lied to win tickets, albeit a lie on a much larger scale, but a lie to get what she wanted just the same.

While I realize stretching the truth and outright lying are 2 different things, where do you draw the line?

I am busted on food in the movies...just some drinks for the kids..
Does everyone give out their phone numbers on the requests that require a number? I stretch the truth on that one.

Yes, that Hannah Montana contest mom lied and got tickets..Now she has had to give them back and explain to a little disappointed 6 year old how bad it is to lie. Not fair what she did to her child..
Speaking of phone numbers, I use my ## and extenson at work. I haven't had a call yet... I also have tried a few that require a business name and skip that part. If they go through, fine for me, if not, no big deal as they must really be catering to businesses only.

I guess I am the bad one too!!! I will lie to get a freebie and call it a business or a home school in order to get things that benefit my family or me. Why not? If you dont get them, some places end up throwing things away. Not only that look at all the free stuff the Celebs get, isnt it time the average hard working person get something for free????

I love free stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:

I never sign up for the business type freebies, I only sign up for stuff I can use, or sometimes something my Mom can use. A good friend of our family sells all of those business related items and he's always giving us his samples (pens, mugs, calenders, stickers, travel mugs, tote bags) So, I guess I have no need to sign up for them on here.

I haven't seen a sign in years that said, "no outside food or drink". Am I just missing it?

The ones my family goes to yes! We have a Drive-In movie place that states YES you can bring your own food and drink with a $5.00 cover. Their main source of income is at the concession stand and I respect that. We only go to the movies a couple times a year and maybe once in the summer at the drive In. Its expensive which is why its usually a special treat.
