very good point because last week I read an article on this that said nobody was expected to have the converter boxes available for sale until later this summer--so don't rush to get your coupons!

The converter boxes are available now at Best Buy, Radio Shack and Walmart. I also found them on Amazon.com, but I don't believe Amazon is taking the coupons. My coupons expire in May, so am trying to research the available models, to see what's best - but not much information out there yet.

How long did it take to get them? I ordered mine in February or January I think and still haven't received anything.

My parents ordered theirs back in January and received their coupons almost 3 weeks ago now.

I found a converter box at Walmart for $49 and grabbed it. the last couple of times I checked, the shipments they had were cleaned out. So, with the coupon, I paid $9. I hooked it up, and now we can get 9 channels it. Before we could only get 4. But we are not able to get NBC now - we could without it.

We have a small tv in our bedroom that we never watch, so I didn't bother to get a box for that one. But I think I'l try the converter box I have on that one to see if it'll get NBC. If so, I'll buy another converter box for that one.
