what companies are most likely to give gift cert. and other things. We are having a biggest loser competition with the local moms club and I plan to contact some place to get prizes for the winner and other contestants. Any ideas??

Well, our PTA and Moms Club have had the most luck with restaurants, but I don't know if that would be appropriate for a Biggest Loser contest (LOL). We have also gotten gift certificates from local bookstores and gift shops - most of the big chains will give to our PTA but not the Moms Club.

When I worked at Wal-Mart we usually would issue companies gift cards for events such as yours as long as you submitted it in writing to the personnel department. They usually need about a week to process your request.
