Hello, all. This is my first post here, so I hope I am putting this in the right place. (I have been searching all around the boards for the last couple of hours and this is a fantastic resource!

My husband and I are expecting our first child in a few months, and I was told that I could register on different companies' websites to receive free trials and samples of their products, which could save us a nice little bit of money in the early days. (Companies like Pampers, Enfamil, etc.)

So, I am just wondering if you have any suggestions on companies I should look at for the best free samples.

Thanks very much for any ideas!

Well register at all the diaper companies. Also make sure you register at BAby r us even if you dont think anyone will buy u anything they give great samples. THe doctor and hospital were good resource for free samples. Gerber, johnson, beechnut, any thing you can think of related to baby at least you can email them always good to get on mailing list. Good luck

If you want to stock up on diapers before your due date, I would "fudge" your due date to say you are due a month or so before you actually are. Then you can use your coupons earlier if you find a great deal.

If you make your date earlier then "if" your baby happens to be large the samples the diaper companies send won't be too small by the time you receive them. I learned this one the hard way.

FYI- most stuff you won't get until around the due date, so don't worry if you sign up now, the samples will come.

Hello there, and welcome to Mommysavers!! And congratulations on your new baby!!

As mentioned, Gerber, J&J, Beechnut, and BabysRUS are all good companies to sign up with for free samples, but you may want to think about Huggies, Similac, Luvs, and maybe Earths Best, as well.

If you visit both our Samples & Freebies forum here: http://mommysavers.com/boards/samples-freebies-offers/
and our Couponing forum here:http://mommysavers.com/boards/couponing-coupon-trains/
you are sure to find info. on lots of companies that would send you both coupons and free samples in the mail, OR some coupons you could print out and use now!!

(Since this is a question more about samples than coupons, I'm going to move this thread from the Money Saving Tips forum to the Samples & Freebies forum.)

See you there!! And again, welcome!! We're glad you found us!!
