Just received this invite for the American Express Plum Card. Unfortunately, I had to decline because I don't want another credit card! (I already have an American Express card now)
my hubby and i both got invites for a campaign for the Plum Card for American Express. Not sure if I will join or not yet...i don't know if i want to sign up for the credit card and if i don't i wouldn't be able to bzz...
I turned it down, I read the fine print and honestly I'd never use it. I have 1 CC that I occasionaly use (and pay off right away) and get points for, I don't need another one. Also, with dh and I paying off our last debt I'd feel like a hypocrite telling people to use a CC!
I got this one too.... i didn't read ALL of the info just because the first paragraph in it said that you have to spend a minimum of $1000 by 9/4/2008 or something like that....No thanks!
I got offered the campaign as well, but haven't accepted yet either. My question is are you automatically approved for it? What if you say yes to the campaign, but then aren't approved for the credit card itself?

yeah, i had some questions too...like do you actually have to use it? lol i don't know if it was saying that you had to spend the $1000 if you join the campaign, but if you want the $100 cash back then you do.
I turned it down, too. I wasn't sure if I had to go through the whole approval process, and didn't want to, because it does a hard pull on your credit score.
