I agree; people would ignore/trash the cards. That is chintzy. We need to report it on the Bzz report, as they need to have this info.

What would we report to bzz agent? You didn't give me any coupons so no one wanted to try the trail mix? I couldn't give them a sample of mine because there were no coupons?

I have already bzzed the trail mix twice and haven't had any problems with people saying "hey, were the heck is my coupon??". I don't have my kit yet, but I did go buy a box of the trail mix and split it up into small snack size baggies to hand out. Every (four kids and two adults) have really liked it so far. No complaints on my end! (at least not yet!)

Well i know here in Illinois if i hand someone i do not know a bag that was filled by me and put into a baggie, they would throw it away thinking something might be in it. Only way i would do that is if i was having a play date with DD and I and we new the parents.

I would never give someone I don't know a baggie of trail mix and expect them to eat it!

I'm sure that wouldn't go over very well! When I bzz it's usually on blogs, through email and in play groups and among friends. I don't do a lot of the "walk up to a person in the store and give them something" bzzing. Mostly just for people I know...neighbors, friends, playgroup, stuff like that. I guess I wasn't very clear on that!

This was my first bzzz, and I thought the chat cards were the norm. I got them, looked at them, and thought "no way would anyone actually go to this website". I was going to quit bzzz. So is it not normally like this?

No. They usually give you coupons. Like with the Sonicare, I had coupons with me and walked up to people in Target who were looking at the toothbrushes (I think it was before Christmas), and told them of my experience with the product, giving them coupons and letting them know how I got the coupons and the sample item. I saw two people head toward the register from this with my coupons.

I recieved the teddy graham campaign on Thurs and of course the teddy grahams are gone! But I told my friends about the "chat" they all laughed. Don't think this will go over well. Coupons were a better idea.

I got my bzz kit today! Yahoo! The trail mix was sooo good! My boys ripped it open right away, they saw the bees on the box when I pulled it out of the mailbox and were ready for a snack.

I liked it myself, too!

About the chat cards, I think a lot of it has to do with the way you hand them out. If you tell your friend "you're never going to believe what they want us to do, look at these lame cards..." that's the reaction they're going to have,too. I handed one to my neighbor while we were in the front yard opening the box and she said she'd go to the website. She had a handful of the trail mix and seemed to like it. She's raising three of her grandchildren, so she's said she was going to get some for them.
