how much do you pay for school lunch? last year it was 2.50 and gone up to $3. a big increase in my book, and we do not qualify for reduced/free lunch....

I am prety sure I can pack her own lunch for cheaper ( plus we do not have a peanut restriction there ). So if you do pack lunch, what is your aim of price/cost per packed lunch?

Our school lunch cost $1.70 & i don't think that's a bad price. I think cost wise whether dds pack or buy, it's a horse-a-piece. DDs like what they make at school & end up buying a lot which makes it easier on me in the am!

I think $3 is a lot for a child's school lunch. You can probably pack for a lot cheaper. SOrry you have to pay that.

We pay $2.50 here too. I will usually pack my kids lunch, I just can't give them money every week for lunch. I send in $20 a month, and I let them each buy lunch on Pizza day, which is usually Friday.

Our school lunches are $2.00, I let my ds pick which days he wants to buy and then we pack a lunch for the other days.

The school where my dss goes is $2.85 for lunch. That doesn't include any type of dessert. That's extra. He is lucky that his mom qualifies for free lunch and breakfast.

Our lunch is $2. They pack their lunch though I've never added up the cost.

Ours are 1.45 . I don't really worry about price per lunch , I just don't like my kids to waste food , so they pick out the days they want to buy , which is usually 8 times or so a month for each kid.
