So many choices, which one did your children pick? Backpack, backpack on wheels, messenger bag, or a tote?

Both my boys have the LL Bean backpack, our school does not allow the ones with wheels.

Both of mine have backpacks. No rules just has to be a certain size so the folder they send home on Fridays (with all their papers) fits in it.

M'ija hated backpacks - she has a slight scoliosis, and carrying one was uncomfortable for her. Her schools didn't allow wheeled bags, so she tried a messenger bag, loved it, and has used one ever since.

My guys have always used backpacks. Rolled backpacks haven't been allowed at any school my kids have attended.

dd-9 goes between a backpack and messenger bag but usually ends up with the backpack the longest. dd-5 and dd-4 use backpacks. Their schools do not allow wheeled bags either.
