we have gotten the seasonal flu shots but you have to be in a high risk category to get the h1n1 vaccine right now. They hope by the middle of Dec they will have enough vaccine for everyone else. It will probably be to late in the year then though

One of my kids got the H1N1 nasal spray about 2-3 weeks ago at school, the other didn't get it as he has wheezing and can't get the spray. We just got word that they will not be doing the 2nd round at the school as the supply is not there.

Different schools in the county will be holding H1N1 clinics, but not ours at least not for the moment anyway. Both of my kids already received the first shot, but in a couple of weeks I will have to return for the second dose, and my doctor's unsure about the availability at his practice. Ugh...irritating. Hopefully they have it in abundance coming Thanksgiving.

I have heard that they are going to have it at the highschool next week, but I haven't heard anything about it being at the junior high or the elementary school.
I have decided that none of my children will get the shot.

Last I heard, our elementary school was planning to, but that's all I know. DS got the H1N1 mist last week. Who knows if he will be able to get the second dose due to availability. Our MD's office is only giving to age 25 and under & pregnant women right now so DH and I can't get it at all.

Nope, no schools are vaccinating here. I wish they were!!!
I'm a hospital worker so I have received mine (rule is workers only NO family). We have clinics set up all over the city but the wait times are crazy. I mean people are starting to line up at 4-5am just to get in line for their number which is only handed out after 9am. Heck the clinic don't even start giving the shots at 2:30pm. I'm stressed cause I don't like the feeling of me being vaccinated but not my children...I won't be able to dedicate the time necessary (basically have to be available to wait in a line ALL DAY) until Tuesday as I work every day until then!

Every student in the state will have it by Dec. 5th. Here it is being done in the schools-high school and middle schoolers during the school day and elementary schools are having it 4-8 pm on their given day so that parents need to be there.
