I have a boy and a girl so rough-housing was never really done except when my DS was younger and my DH would with him, but they knew that it was kept to the floor and away from the breakables, but it wasn't done that often, so it never got out of hand.

Oh goodness, dh wrestles with them all the time! He throws them around on our bed and they whack each other with pillows. They love to play that song "Kung Fu Fighting" and then pretend like they are karate kicking each other. Sometimes I get it on video. It's pretty hilarious

To a point, sometimes they get carried away and I have to put a stop to it.

I feel like boys will be boys. There is nothing really breakable or irreplaceable that they could get to. I make sure they won't be seriously injured and let them go.

Oh gosh...yes. Is that bad? LOL It's part of being a kid and messing around IMO, I really don't have a problem with it. Obviously it depends on what they're doing - but it hasn't been an issue in our house.
