I'm on the fence regarding having a third child or not. I'm in no hurry to have a third right now, but I was wondering.....
if you have more than two kids was it harder when they were all real little and young? OR is it harder when they are all in grade school and above? OR is it all pretty much on the same level just with different challenges?
I'm just looking for a little talk about what it's like having 3 or more.

I have three boys and I honestly don't think having three is that much harder than having two. My boys are 8, 6 and 2. The two older boys love to play with their little brother and keep him quite entertained. When they are in school and it's just me and the little guy it is pretty quiet around here! For me, three is the perfect number.

Mine are DD 17, DS 13, DS 5 and DS 17mos. Mine are spread out quite a bit and it works pretty well. But then again I do get help from the older ones.

Mine are 8, 6 and 4 and it really isn't all that bad. When they were 4, 22 months and 2 months it was a little more challenging, but now that they can all dress themselves - no big deal.

My kids are 16, 12, 5 and 2 so the first 3 are pretty spread out. The older kids help a lot with the younger ones. Our school district has K-3rd grade at one school and 4th & 5th grade at another so I've never had 2 kids in the same school at the same time. Sometimes just getting everyone where they need to be on time can be overwhelming but for the most part it works out. I love having 4 kids and wouldn't trade my life for anything.

My kids are currently 22, 14, 10,9,8 and 5 I have never thought it was hard! When my boys were babies and I had 3 that were 2 and under, they adapted quite well! The only hard part now is when they all have soccer games in different locations!!

I have five kids, 11, 9, 7, 5 and 2. We homeschool, so that helps with the morning rush thing. The hardest part is when they all have a sport at the same time, but we adapt. I think it's all in what you get used to. The kids have to learn to share not only things, but their parents time. The bigger ones are pretty good with helping the younger ones, plus my kids all have chores and are expected to help out around the house. I'd really like to have one more baby, but we'll have to see if God has that in his plan for us. Good luck with what ever decision you make.

For me it's harder now than when they were little. I have 12, 9, and 7 yr olds and they are involved in extracurricular activities....usually it's a sport a season, but they're not in the same age bracket or the same sports.....so I have to figure out how to be in two or more places at once, but that's my biggest issue....
I guess it was tough when they were younger too and it never got easier, just different. LOL! But everyone adapts, I couldn't imagine my life any different.

I will know soon what it's like to have 3 kids. Right now I have a 5 and 3 yr old and I'm pregnant with #3.
I'm curious on what others say about adding more children to their family.

i have a ds who is 11, another ds who is 8, and then a dd who is 9 months. i highly recommend waiting a few years to have the third child. i'm more laid back, my household is less stressed and the kids love playing w/ their sister. they are also a lot of help!
